Local Learners is run by Luke Gallagher in Sydney's eastern suburbs. Luke holds degrees in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Sydney, is currently completing a Juris Doctor at UNSW, and works professionally alongside Local Learners. That mix of STEM and law gives him a strong handle on the subjects most parents are looking for help with, from primary maths and literacy through to HSC English, Maths and the sciences.
So much of tutoring is a black box. You pay for the hours and never really see whether your child is moving forward, which outcomes have been covered, or where the money has actually gone. Local Learners is built to change that.
Every program is planned around the NSW syllabus and built session by session for the specific child. Parents get a real app that shows exactly which outcomes are being covered, mastered, and worked on next, so you can see where your child is going, not just what you paid for.
