All prices in AUD. Local Learners is not registered for GST, so no GST applies.

$100 / hour
Kindergarten through Year 10. Maths, English, and Science.

Common questions

First session — what happens?▾

A no-pressure intro. About 30–45 minutes. You can join, your child can chat with me, we'll look at a recent piece of school work and a sample lesson plan. No commitment. If it doesn't feel right, no worries.

In-person or online — what's the difference?▾

Same rate, same approach, same app. In-person is at your home or a quiet space we agree on. Online uses video + a shared whiteboard — works well for HSC. Younger students often do better in person.

Do you tutor siblings together?▾

Each session is one-to-one so each child gets full attention, but back-to-back sibling sessions are easy to arrange. Both children get their own page in the parent app, with their own progress, outcomes and notes.

Cancellation policy?▾

24 hours' notice and the session moves with no charge. Last-minute cancellations are charged at the normal rate (with rare exceptions for illness). Prepaid block sessions roll over so you don't lose them.

When do payments happen?▾

Weekly by bank transfer, or upfront for a 10/20-session block. I'll send an invoice each Friday for the week's sessions.
